Thumbs up Front Spring Ride height Question

Folks,

I have a question regarding what Springs I should put under the Front of my 69, The springs that are on the car are weak and old with random spacers pushed in, Needless to say the front end is sagging down and they need replaced.

My Question is I have a BBC and have heard if I put new BBC springs thaey will be to high and make the car look like a gasser... and Some have said put New small block springs and the ride height will be perfect... And some say if you have a Big Block you need BB Springs and small block springs will not suppor the weight correctly and allow body roll... and suggest I get BB springs that are lowered 2 inches?

Any one here have any of these set ups and is there any truth to Small Block Springs allowing body roll?

Any have BB springs lowered 2 Inches and what is your ride hieght? Pics would be great!

I plan to get the springs ordered and installed in the next week! Thanks for the help.

Yes, if the springs are sagging with spacers installed someone did not replace the small block springs with big block springs when they did the swap. BB springs with a 2 inch drop will put it close to where it is now. You might try BB springs with a 1/2 to 1 inch drop. That will bring the front up some but not put it in the air.
