Hi there, my 95' Z28 runs roughly, backfires, splutters, cuts out and sometimes wont start. With the ignition on and the engine off there is a lot of ticking and clicking from around the engine and relay box, a sort of fan sound and with each tick the tachometer needle jumps up and down? HELP!

when was the last tune up done? have u ever changed the opti? with the info provided it could be one or more of the folowing, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel presure reg, plugs, plug wires, opti, ignition modual, coil, air pump and could be wireing.
