Im getting the P0410 secondary air pump code. On cold start up im getting lots of air flow at the union at the top of the driver wheel well. Hardly getting any air at all at the check valves. Im not getting any vacuum to the diverter valve. I am getting power to the solenoid.

Did you check the pipe going under the engine for damage? Also, when you check the air flow at the check valves, take both loose at the same time. Blocking one will cause the air to go through the other one, although I think it takes a lot of pressure to get past the check valves.

Make sure the bleed valve is closed. If you have no vacuum to the solenoid, that may stay open.

 

I cleared the codes and the light stayed off for 2 days. The light came on about 10 miles into the drive. I re checked my vacuum supply to my diverter valve. I had vacuum on cold start up this time. Not alot, but enough to hold the vacuum line to my finger. Is there a possibility this could be my diverter valve? And how do you get to the bolts to remove it?
