So I printed out a huge pile of rpo codes, and went out and sat in my car and highlighted what my car had. Here's where I got lost.

I saw the code L36, which means 427 cu. 390 hp engine. lol, wrong! What does it actually mean?

Then I saw M49, which is a 5 spd borg warner 77mm, 3.75 tranny. lol, don't think so.

There where some other code that I couldnt find the meaning to, they were some of the last ones in the glove compartment. Why are these two codes there, if my car is a sixer? lol, what do they really mean?

 

You must have printed out a mixed batch of RPO codes. This should help straighten it out.
