but it will turn over and chug. i took the fuel cap off and put my ear up to it and had someone turn the key all the way, and i didn't hear much from the fuel tank(i heard something under the car, but i don't think it was the fuel pump?)

any suggestions? i'm leaning towards fuel pump/fuel filter. maybe even injectors, spark plugs and wires. or maybe even a new battery?

 

do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to the "on" position ?
check the fuel pressure out with a fuel pressure gauge.Whats the battery voltage at before and during cranking ?
