So my car came with a hooker cat back on it, and im not really enjoying how quiet it is. If i just got a new muffler would that make it sound better? Otherwies i think im going to get a cutout.

 

just really depends on the type of muffler you got, some would make it louder and some would make it softer.....i have heard a couple of stock z28s and ss with an slp muffler and they are pretty loud because its a resonator and not muffler so its basically striaght pipes from the cat back
