Hello,

(2001 SS LS1 5.7L) needed some advice on getting a little louder sound. not incredibly loud, just need a step up from the factory SLP Center mount exhaust. I would like to keep the stock exhaust. it sounds pretty good right now, just needs a kick. I was just wondering if a high flow cat might do the trick? or if that won't change anything? any advice would be much appreciative. thanks.

 

I doubt that a high flow cat will make much of a difference, being that the car already has one.
