i put a magnaflow cat-back exhaust system on my 2010 camaro and it sounds great, but its still not where i want it. what would be the next step to take in order to make my car louder? ive heard headers would be the next big thing, if this is right then what kind should i get? thank you for your help!

 

Headers and x or h pipe (idk what the 5th gen uses).

 

Nothing was pretty loud and still sounded good to me.

The 2011 2SS/RS has a factory H pipe and two 8 inch glass pack. I just put a flowmaster exhaust on mine and it sounds great. Not loud at all but sound very good. Very deep and mean sounding. The X pipe is gonna make it sound much better but will put a dint in your pocket book. I'm not looking for loud so I'm not sure I would be much help.

 

just got a 2012 2SS/RS (automatic) and ordered the LG header/exhaust combo. Also putting on a cold air intake and lowering springs. Before I get the car back it will be dynoed and tuned. Once it is back in my garage, I'll post my reaction.

Note, I may be a newbie on this forum, but I just left the CorvetteForum. Traded in a 2005 C6 that had a supercharged 402 block that produced 751/700 rwhp/tq.
