would new cats take away power?

A Hi-Flow Cat would NOT take away any HP. In fact a new Cat may increase your performance because the motor was engineered to use one .

thanks guys. sales people suck, where i bought it the sales people said that you are goin to lose power. and i told them i don't think so. but they insisted on that it would. ill set them straight next time i see them.

Catalytic converts do reduce the performance, but a high flow has MINIMAL loss.
