I know several people that have pacesetters and they look good, and work, so why not. One thing to think about is how long they are going to last. Even coated headers are going to eventually loose the coating and rust. If I would of know this, I would spent the extra money and got stainless steel headers and you never have to worry about that. Just something to think about.

As a witness and as a helper, I have seen about a dozen pacesetters go in LS1's. There has never been an issue of fitting problems. Install is actually easier than most. Not only that... but they give you the power you need for all applications. I don't have the most expensive heads.... not by a long shot nor the most agressive cam but the pacesetters along with an Xpipe (and some other goodies) helped my car hit 470 at the wheels .......naturally aspirated & hit 11.1s at the track! I dont need anymore proof and could not be happier.

..... well technically when I dump a 408-418cid and a supercharger in there THEN I mignt be happier.....oh and when I get that Dana rearend....Oh and those 4.10 gears... then I might be happier....or when I get some Qa1 shocks..... OK never mind about my happiness...

Get the pacesetters!!

Pacesetter's are known to fit the LS1 better than the LT1. I think the reason they're easier to install is the primaries aren't tuned to Pacesetter just makes them go pretty much straight to the collector. Not a lot of bends=easier installation.
