what is the difference in mid tube and long tube headers? And is it a bad idea to buy painted headers instead of the armour coat?

with long tubes you can get more torque, get ceramic coated headers, painted ones will end up looking like crap within a week.

from what you can find on here, the people i have talked to, and the set i have owned. I would stay away from pacesetter. They always seem to have a pretty decent price, but they tend to rust out. I don't know how the ones for the lt1's are, but they will be a big enough pain to but on that you don't want to do it again in a few years, I would just save up and spend the money on some great ceramic coated headers and not have to worry about them if it was me.
