exhaust clearance

Default exhaust clearance

my second mod on my car is going to be a 3" cat back system and i'm leaning toward magnaflow. my question is, i lowered my car already so is the bigger exhaust going to have clearance problems or will i be okay? idk if it matters but i have a 97 ss

shouldnt be a problem, just be careful pulling up those approaches to parking lots or driveways

You shouldn't have to worry about anything with just a cat back, if you were going to do headers you could be cutting it close, like 1985RS said, just be careful and take it slow. Your front air dam is lower than any part of the cat back anyway.

yeah its nearly impossible not to make that rub from time to time. i've driven several lowered s10's so i'm used to looking for smooth roads. i was wondering how long it would take you to get back to me slvr, haha!
