i got a 1990 camaro rs 5.0 v8 i want to kno if i had flowmasters will it maybe take off quicker like add more horse power or just sound louder cuz i want to street race it later on and i dont want to be paying like big cash for it just cheep stuff

 

just a muffler might give you 10 h/p

 

blu this is why V6 baned you. anyway a full cat back will give 10-12 horse power... a muffler will be 3-4 at best

dyno pulls and non-flowmaster studies show that the baffling inside can actually hurt power. I would go with magnaflows or even warlocks, and id install headers and a full stainless x-pipe system for max power gains
