Hey I have an 02 SS and I recently purchased a magnaflow cat back exhaust systemwith a dual chamber muffler and dual outletran me about 700$ installed. I instantly noticed a power increase which is alwayz good but it's not exactly what i wanted in terms of sound. It has a nice tone but its not that loud. Does anyone know a good muffler i could swap out that would give me a nice deep loud tone. I live in Cali so i can't remove my cats. I use to have a 95 Z28 that i put a single chamber flow master on(I don't know what series) but i was considering going that route with my SS and just not having any tips(I like that look better anywayz) I'm just not sure how that affects performance

 

well i've never had flowmasters on my car but i've heard bad things about the power gains they give. but they do seem to sound nice. as soon as i get paid i'mordering a TSP true-dual kit with some long tubes and sweet thunder mufflers, but before i decided on true duals, i had my heart set on a GMMG cat-back. check them out at ls1sounds.com.
