You have to change the filter from underneath. That is the bottom lip of the driver fender

Now I think that looks nicer than the K&N, but I like shiny stuff!
Is the tube plastic or metal/aluminum?
The only thing it doesn't have that K&N does is a block off piece for where it goes through the inner fender.
A roll of duct tape would take care of that.

That does look nice, how hard would you say the installation was?

does look cool, but its missing the expansion chamber. i think it helps to speed the air up.

Both the blue and black elbow are rubber. The chrome parts are metal. Seems like it would be pretty simple to change this to a ram air system. I plan cutting up some 1/8" thick carbon fiber sheets to clean up where the tube leaves the engine comparment.

A tube is a tube... As long as it is clean bends, you're good to go

For everyone difficutly is different. but I thought installing this was easier then putting the stock system back on. I just snuged the clamps, rotated everything around to put it where I wanted it. The only real challange was getting the Air temp sensor out of the stock bushing without breaking it and turning the clamps so you can't see the ugly side and still be able to tighten them.

The kit came with a couple of light brackets. I assume this kit fits other cars cause I could not see away to use them.

I got it for 45 buck and free shipping,

Looks similar my setup, other than a K&N at the end of mine. 2 years and problem free.
