I have a friend who put a Cherry Bomb exhaust on his 3.4L and it made it sound soooo much better. I had a RS at the time with a Straight Y pipe with class packs so I was quite happy with mine, but now I have a 98 Z28. I don't like either the stock look or sound. I only ever see Cherry bombs on older camaros and smaller engines, are they restrictive or something?

 

They're a glass pack, 'nuff said. They're going sound good for a little, and then you'll blow all the packing out and they'll sound like a straight pipe aka loud. Take a look at some different cat-backs on YouTube and see which one you like the sound/look of the best and go with that.

 

Try some other. they are not that much good.

 

Id go with magnaflow....but its your car

 

I've got a Hooker Aerochamber 3" catback on my '95 z. It sounds better and it's actually quieter than my previous flowmaster catback; and, it seems to flow better.

 

I put cherry bombs on a 68 camaro years ago. They sounded great until they blow the packing apart like a poster above said. I wouldnt waste your money on these.
