Default got a cherry bomb

hey guys! i got a cherry bomb and i put it on the car yesterday. the one i got actually was angled to fit! the car sound somewhat good. still kinda quiet till you get in it. i put a 90 degree bend in and a turndown so it looks OEM.my co worker was all about flowmasters. and i have a super 44 at ork off a work truck(we buy used S10's and we cut them off, replace them with stock mufflers and paint them white) but i too my cherry bomb and the flowmaster and put a socket through each and lost my 10mm socket in the flowmaster, and told him which would you rather have?

Isn't a Cherry Bomb one of those mufflers from Pepboys?

I'm confused by the broken english in your post. I would rather have a Flowmaster Super 44 than a cherry bomb. Better sound. I don't give a crap about flow I rig my exhaust for the sound. You're not going to choke up a Flowmaster muffler unless you're making huge power.

I think the OP's Camaro is a sixer. Any muffler should unleash a few ponies on a sixer.

just try to fit it on where the cat back would bolt to. and get a muffler strap somewhere. it will be loud and awesome. ill just say that. i put glass packs on all my rigs. but i couldn't understand if you have a glass pack or some turbo mufflers in which case take it to a muffler shop and have them do it right behind the axle,

i did my exhaust because my cat clogged up so i deleted it, and ran that glass pack, still need to pull it off the car again as a whole unit and weld it up though. but the clamps work for now

i also added a little 90degree piece of the stock mandrel bent pipe at the other end to direct it out from under the car and change the pitch of the exhaust because after it broke in it got louder and was just exhaust blasting the underside of the car.

im 100% happy with it now. and 90% of people where telling me not to do it, but they didnt know much. just dont mess up your rig if you dont know how to do exhaust. i had a shop do my H pipe and glass packs on my 79 camaro. i will probably weld that whole rig up in the near future or this summer.

i just put a glasspack were the muffler was, and a 90 degree bend with a turndown, from the outside(till you actually bend over and look)it looks stock. its not loud at all but its got some growl to it now.

awesome dude. i dig people putting glasspacks on our V6s. its kinda a screw you to all the people saying DONT ITS BAD. about a year ago on another forum people thought i was crazy for even thinking of it because of the so called and known 3.8L rasp that happens but you know what. i think the glasspack on our car sounds awesome.

when i didnt have the tip and it ran like you see in the picture at an idle people loved it. but it was a little too loud when i had the CB and radio going to understand anything. but its so easy to unclasp the tip for w.e i feel like.
