Carb or TBI?

Question Carb or TBI?
My 91 rs has TBI on it right now and i was wandering if i tore down the block and rebuilt it if i could go to a carb? or will i end up losing power? Is more "cost efficient" then the other?

That era of throttle bodies, and their heads, are very poor flowing.
You'd be ahead to replace heads, intake, and put a carb on top, performance wise.
