Whats the loudest muffler you can put on a 3inch exhaust, right now i have hooker shorty headers, highflow car, and a hooker muffler, is there any muffler i can put on to make it louder? does it make it louder with that cats off?

 

u could go no-muffler

flowmaster makes a wide range of mufflers, including race single chamber ones...do some research

 

no mufflers not really an option, i can barly pass inspection now so i gotta keep the cat on and just run octain buster threw it to pass emissions. it sucks living in PA because we gotta get it every year. yea i was thinkin flowmaster for a muffler, or do a cut out before it.

 

that sucks...MI is sweet. My Camaro is the first car that actually has a Cat on it...

MI doesn't have any emissions what so ever, technically you need a muffler and a cat, but there is no checks, and if you get pulled over for loud exhaust, its just a fix it ticket and they don't even check to make sure you have a cat then.

 

i got a the cat cut off and 3inch run all the way back in to a supper40 flowmaster and it's starting to clere out and i love it ..
