Default Aston martin exhaust note

Well I'm putting the finishing touches on the Camaro and it's time for exhaust! I have a mild 350 with about 330 hp and long tube hooker headers. Decent stuff. Anyway the other day I was watching the show top gear and they were driving the Aston Martin v8 vantage. I absolutely love how that thing sounds up in the higher revs! You have to hear it!

Does anyone know a muffler that could help match this sound? Any ideas?

Well you'll never match an Austin Martin exhaust note with a GM small block. Completely different engine design and both throw completely different exhaust tones. Your best bet is an x-pipe with small bullet mufflers. Probably want to run 2.5 pipe to get close to that tone.

Ya I didn't expect to match it up completely. I guess what I'm really drawn to is that exotic tone in the high rpms.

True duals (x pipe) with bullet mufflers is about as close as it gets with a Camaro lol. May want to look into Borla XR1 MultiCore Race mufflers. They're expensive but definitely worth the coin. They'll give an extremely exotic tone. Here's a v6 with them! Think of what your v8 would sound like with them!

This guy has an h pipe but an x pipe will perform better and give you the more smooth exotic tone rather than the choppy American muscle tone.
