94 LT1 z28 installing headers need advice on canister removal

if the shaft is the same length, diameter and such then u should be able to swap the case extension. if not u will have to change the output shaft at the least. i cant tell u if they are in fact interchangeable. if u get nothing here call or stop by a local wrecking yard. they should know the compatibility of the two.

you guys are so helpfull... im gunna purchase it tommarrow... and we shall see how this works out.. i thought all chevy rear wheel drive 4l60e's where the same..

It's not going to work, not without a bit of ****in around. There are some important differences between the years.
