1998 camaro 3.8 intake help

Angry 1998 camaro 3.8 intake help

(intake manifold) i took off the upper got all the bolts i can find out and it is loose on passengers side but on drivers side it seems to still be held by a bolt or something. is there some thing i'm missing? i have looked every where.

any advice would be very app.

You are trying to remove the intake correct? Give these a look over:

Did you unscrew the metal clasp that holds the rubber hose from the intake to the throttle body?

I think there is one under the thermostate. You can go into the 4th gen section and grab the parts manual. It should have an exploded view.

Gorn is right but it is one of the two bolts that hold down the thermo housing. One is longer than the other and holds down the front of the plenum unless both are removed.
