Recently my everyday driver started having issues with sputtering when taking off. Immediately thought it was bad gas or clogged fuel filter. Changed fuel filter and fuel pump and problem is still there. Started to check elsewhere and noticed that my air filter wasn't put back in after my last oil change which would have been a little over a month ago. I cleaned throttle body and MAF sensor and problem is still there. I'm no mechanic so I'm stuck as to what to look at next. As soon as you crank it the service engine soon light starts flashing and you get the rough idle. It will clear up some while driving but if you put it under a load, it starts back with the flashing service engine soon light and the sputtering.
