Default Help please!

I changed my oil, air filter, fuel filter. Car starts but doesn't hold an idle for some reason. Float? Filter in wrong? Any ideas would be great. Thank you guys for looking

Changing oil won't affect how the engine idles. Changing the filter won't affect idle much unless the old filter was pretty well clogged up, in which case the engine might idle a bit faster with the new filter. I suspect you may have put the filter in improperly or tangked up the throttle linkage when you replaced the filter housing. Make sure everything is back where it is supposed to be. Try running engine with filter & housing removed & see if it holds idle.

Choke setting, fast idle setting, or curb idle setting on the carb perhaps? What kind do you have?

acutally i just turned around the fuel filter and turned the idle screw as high as it will go, still has the problem. could it be carb internal problems, like improperly adjusted float, plunger not siting properly. almost gonna rip off the dang 2 barrel carb and intake and put on a 4 if i cant get this fixed

is your fuel line clean?, are all the spark plugs clean?, just check your throttle valve.
