Hello all, im haveing trouble with my car.I cant seem to get the car to idle smooth. I have tried replaceing all the plugs/wires, dist/ and cap. when im driving the car runs good. The car accelerates smooth and there is no shudders or anything. i was thinking maybe it could be the fuel filter, because when i come to a stop, it idles rough then it will die. any input would be great. this is my daily driver and need it to be reliable.

Well if you suspect a fuel filter just replace it. Its a maintence item and should be replaced regularly anway. Do you get a service engine light at any time? Does your car have a MAF? May be a little dirty. Do you have the ability to test fuel pressure?
Change the filter first. It also does not hurt the chnage the O2 sensor. That should also be a regular maintenece item as well.
