I have a 90 camaro rs, with the 305 and can't get it to start. It will fire for about 3 seconds and die out. I have replaced the fuel pump, idle air control valve, map sensor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires are still good. Just running out of ideas, if anyone can help with a possible solution I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

 

I have a 90 rs, with the 305 in it. I have replaced the idle air control valve, map sensor, fuel pump, cap, rotor and plugs and it starts for about 3 seconds then dies out. I checked for codes and got a low voltage signal from the throttle control, but now not getting any codes at all. Still won't start, any ideas out there?

 

GOT THE NOT STARTING PROBLEM FIGURED OUT, STILL DOESN'T RUN REAL GREAT ON THE HIGHER RPMS THOUGH. I THINK IT'S THE TIMING, BUT I ALSO CHANGED THE IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE AND SOMEONE SAID YOU HAVE TO RUN IT AT 40 MPH FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES BEFORE IT WILL SET ITSELF AND RUN RIGHT. ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THESE THINGS?
