Default Spark?

Hi everybody. New guy here. Simple question. If a motor isnt getting spark the headers wont get warm at all right. Reason im wondering. I replaced the distributor in my car today. Hooked everything back up and it didnt start. Hooray!! Haha. First time i changed one so not surprised. But i noticed it did seem like it wanted to start for brief moments. Like it fired up barely and dies. Touched the headers and they were noticeably warm to touch. Not hot but warm. So im guessing maybe its getting spark?. Thought i would hear from the pros on this subject. Thanks everybody. Sorry post is so long.

Your distributor is either out of time by a little, but enough. It's off by a whole 180 degrees. Or you have some crossed plug wires. Watch these two videos, they should get you through it.
