ok i was driving home last night, i got by a friends house, they were sitting outside. i reved up my car, did it again and the service engine soon light popped on, woulod u have any ideas what it could be before i take to to the shop? thank you

Could be anything. If you take your car to Auto Zone, they'll scan it for free and tell you what it is.

 

It could be one or more of the many items that work with the computer.
