Well it turns out my wife found this site while I was out working on my 83 CJ7 with engine problems witch is a LT1 out of a 91 camaro. She figured I needed to find some help after spending $250 and I am still having problems.

OK here is the scoop It ran great last summer then I parked it for winter, spring came and I started it up to move it.It started up ruff so I figured Id change the plugs and wires so after that it started up and ran for 2 daysstalling out but restarting but it finely just quit I thought it wasthe in line fuel pump so I put a new one on that didn't change anythingbut it started up and ran till it got to OP/temp so I thought Hey I had this happened on a car I had onceso I replaced the module, rotor and cap. I stated it up and it ran fine besides it lopeson Idol (Not Built)when I come to a stop but it stays runningsome times it seams like its going to stall. I took and started it up today it started then itdie then I restarted it and before it could stall I gave it gas and it stayed running but ruff and it was rich and if I rev it up I get black smoke. I would like to know what the two sensors on the front of the block just above the water pumpare one of the plugs outer shell is kinda melted.

 

You need to find out what engine you really have. There was no 91 Camaro with LT1 engine. The first LT1 Camaro was in 93.

 

How would I find thatout?

Your car is a 350 chevy small block engine 5.7L. Its tune port injected. If you look at the smog tag, where it says "comments" it tells you.
