Default Rear End Problem

I own a 98 camaro z28. when i punch the gas i get a loud clunk from the rear end. You can feel it hard if your sitting in the back. I was told that it might be the panhard bar bushing so i replaced it with a poly urathane bushing but i still get the noise. It kinda feels like theres something loose in the rear. can anyone shed light to my problem

Did you happen to notice the date of the original post? Over 3 years old...but nobody ever responded? My answer would have been the trans mount, but too late now.

Save it, especially the height sensor part.

Good idea, that could be useful future reference for someone else.
