I am in the process of pulling my motor and tranny... How do I get the damn thing out with that torsion bar in there???

Hey sorry I mean the bar that runs paralell to the driveshaft... I got it out with some effort. I am posting pics in the third gen forum under engine write up... I will keep you guys informed on my newbie ways of rebuilding or swapping this engine.

 

That would be the torque arm, whichprevents the rear axle housing from spinning.
