Hey guys, I have a 99' camaro z28 A4 and everytime I start my car the old change light comes on. Today I just got an oil change and the light still comes on. I always have plenty of oil, anyone know why that light still comes on? It comes on for about 60 seconds after I start it up then stays off.

 

Well some vehicles need the light reset after the oil change. Try turning the key on, engine off and depress the gas pedal 10 times. Once per second. Thats how you reset some Gm's some in only 3 pumps.

 

the change oil light will start blinking when the reset has occured. wait for it to stop. turn off the key and start the car. you should be golden!
