Camaro and am trying to replace the Tail Light-Break Light Piggy Tail Socket. I On the d
I have a 1968 and am trying to change the Tail Light-Break Light socket that holds the bulb.
The driver side has a yellow and black wire and I need to know which one is the hot one???
On the passenger side I have a brown & a Green and need to know which one is the hot one.
The new piggy tail socket has a Purple and a Black wire. Which one do I use as hot??
Any help would be greatly appreciated

use a test light,
one will be tail light and the other will be brake light, the ground is through the little metal piece where it touches the tail light housing as it twists in.
