First off this issue does not have to do with a camaro, so if this is "too" off topic I apologize and will delete the post.

I use a 95 Mitsubishi Galant as a daily driver. Bought it dirt cheap ($700) about 4 years back and it never gave me any problems. I change the oil on time and never beat on the car. I tried to get answers on a Galant forum but that was a joke. No one has any idea on that site. So I will copy and paste what I wrote on there and see if anyone has had a similar problem or knows what I need to fix it.

"I own a 1995 galant. It's a manual trans and never gave me any problems. Today I started my car and all seemed normal. After I warmed it up and went driving I noticed that when I would drop to neutral or hold in the clutch the rpm's dropped to nothing and the car would just stall. This happened all the way to work. (I drove with 2 feet to keep the RPMs up) Once I pulled in the parking lot I tested out to see if it would stall. The rpms seemed a little sparatic jumping a little from .5-1.5k but it wouldn't stall. Anyone know the problem? And how much it might end up costing?

Just a little update:

Got done driving the car back from work and now nothing seemed wrong at all. Idling was at around 800-900rpms and the car didn't seem like it was going to stall at all. The temperatures here dropped very quickly over the last few days. Maybe some sort of vaccum, fuel injection issue? Cracked or leaking hose? I am not too knowledgable with cars... I will still get it looked at, but I wonder if anyone can point me in a general direction to what they think is (was) wrong."

And that's the original post. The only thing I noticed since then is that if I warm the car up for a really long time (25+ minutes) it seems to never stall on me. If I run it colder or dont warm it as long, it will give me this problem. When warmed the seems a little unpredictable but nothing major. IF anyone could point me in a general direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

It just sounds like an old, cold blooded car to me. My truck runs like crap when its cold too.

Maybe you're right. I took the car out again today and if it warms up for a very long time it seems fine. One thing I notice when in neutral is how the rpms drop a little when i have the brake held down. That doesnt seem right, does it? Besides that, anything I can maybe just clean out that will help this problem a little?

Someone with a jeep was having the same problem. A mechanic told him "Have the throttle position sensor replaced and calibrated"
