My low coolant sensor constantly pops off of the radiator and dumps my fluid all over the place. I checked the metal clip and it is fine. I hear the click that means the sensor is locked in place, but low and behold, a couple weeks later it'll pop off yet again.


This is getting frustrating. Help!


EDIT: I have a 97 Camaro SS

sounds like something is not right. the clip may be bent the wrong way in the right place or the sensor could be damaged in a way that it will not hold the clip in place. so is the clip still in place or is it moving to let the sensor out.

 

Also make sure the radiator cap is working properly and releasing pressure when it is supposed to.
