Default Knocking noise 94'

I have a loud knocking noise coming from my camaro everytime I drive it. It sounds like a baseball card in the spokes of a bike, everytime the wheel makes a full turn it knocks. I have it in the shop right now and they say it could be all kinds of things, from the left front wheel hub, to the front brakes, to the lower control arm. Anyone have any ideas?? I don't want to get screwed by another garage.

if you are sure it is coming from the front then put the front on jack stands and spin the wheels until they make noise, thats the easiest way i could think to fix it

[X(] ooohhhh the possibilities!! youll need to help us out a little as the things the shop said it could be, are possibilities but by no means the only possibilities. does it happen at all speeds or just above say 25mph?? does it change on right or left turns?? does it happen in reverse?? bumpy road or smooth road?? give us some more details and well see what we can do kurt

Sounds (!!) somewhat similar to me.
Have a tap-tap-tap or click-click-click noise if you prefer after braking a few times. Sometimes it is quite a soft noise - other times really irritatingly loud (such that pedestrians stare!).
Mine is from drivers side front wheel, more pronounced when wheel is turned left slightly. Applying brake pressure it disappears.
I wonder if it is something to do with the ABS and a caliper piston not re-seating propoerly?
