Default hydraulic arms?

Hi,

I have an 89 Camaro with 170k miles on it, still going strong! However, there are a few minor issues I need help with. The trunk and the hood cannot stay up by themselves; I have to wedge a pvc pipe to keep them up. It looks like the hydraulic arms are no longer strong enough to hold them. Do you know where I could buy some new ones? I'm guessing they're hydraulic, but is that what they're called?

Also, the roof is starting to drop some flaky, orange stuff, like orange dandruff. It looks like time to replace the interior ceiling. Any idea where I can get those and about how much they cost?

Thanks!
