whats up guys... and girls. i am thinking about buying a 1994 Z28 for 4500 to 5K with 144K miles on it. I don't know too much about Camaros, but my buddy's grandma has a 97 Z28 which we drive around alot because its red with a white convertible top. I test drove the 94 Z that i'm thinking about buying... and it feels and sounds the same as my buddy's grandma's Z. As much as i know the Z i am thinking about is strong and a good car. I just don't want to buy it and then in a few thousand miles have it take a **** on me. I know there is thousands of parts for camaros out there, but i don't want to have to be replacing everything. I'd rather be spending that money on making it quicker.

My question for everyone with a Z28 is... how many miles can one look to get out a a Z28 before everything starts going down hill?? And what have you replaced so far?

I have a 2001 mercury cougar which i really like, but i'm looking for something faster lol. i'm keeping my cougar, but i'm really looking at the Z28.

the only thing with 144000 miles is that the motor is probably tired. keep in mind that is HIGH mileage and i wouldnt be surprised if there was some MAJOR maintenece needed to be done internally

 

It all depends on how hard it was driven, and how the previous owners took care of it.
