Default average lifetime?

At what milage do 98 - 02 z28 or Trans Am's usually die?

My bad, I just saw a thread that answered my question.

So that this thread is not completely useless... I'll ask another question I've been thinking about.

If I get a Camaro, when am I going to probably have to replace the rearend? Do they usually break after a certain amount of miles, or after the car is launching with a certain amount of hp and decently sticky tires? If it can be determined by milage, at what milage will the car most likley need the rear end replaced? If it can be determined by whp, how much whp would I need to be putting down to cause it to snap?

Also, how much does it usually cost for a new rearend, and how much does the installation usually cost?

What is a good site for rearends, I have only been able to find the price of a 12bolt, but I was wondering how mucht he 9' rears cost.
