Having some issues with 94 camaro

Unhappy Having some issues with 94 camaro

It wouldnt crank i hit the starter and it crunk so i went and bout a new starter drove it for a day then i turned it off it wouldnt crank again...Well what happens is it just dies out of nowhere, the lights stay on (battery hazard radio etc) I am not a car expert at all Just have put a lot of money into this car and love it and dont know whats going on. Oh and the people who had the car before me had my fan ran to the fuse box so it would run. Dont know clueless here

sounds like your vats is actinig up. try cleaning the key. there is a bump on your key that has a resistor in it for the vats system. sometimes the connections get dirty and dont get good contact. could also be the ignition switch but most times that will not shut the car off. you can have the vats turned off by a tuner.

^ That's a good place to start anyway. Sometimes junk will affect the crunk!
