Default UK Camaro issues

I need to replace a passenger side view mirror that was knocked off of my 94 Camaro in the UK. Anyone know where I can get a folding mirror replacement? The guy I bought it from brought the car over from Bulgaria, I think, and had it converted to meet UK rules, including mounting folding mirrors on both sides. Don't know if they are aftermarket components, but so far, online searching hasn't turned up anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, so that I can get the car through a fresh MOT!

It electronically folds? or are they just power side mirrors?

I can honestly say I've never(In the U.S.) heard of a folding power mirror on a fourth gen. I know they are on bigger trucks though. I'll keep searching for you but I'm not finding anything

Hi Keith,

If you check out Maple Salvage in Essex, they are breaking a Camaro with folding mirrors. They are not too far from you.

Folding mirrors are required in the UK and all over the EU as a saftey precaution. They say that if you hit a pedestrian with the mirror it will not do as much damage if the mirror gives (fold). Also it does help getting the car into our small garages at home.

Cheers Gerry
