Default Gearing help...

I'm looking to pick up a 67 camaro...it currently has 4.11 gears w/ a 3 speed tranny. Its mainly been raced. If I wanted it as a street driven car...what gears would you recommend?

Depends on what kind of streets. On city or rural streets, what you have is fine. If you plan on doing a bit of highway driving, then you would probably be happier with either a 3.55 or 3.73.
I have 4.10's, a T350, and 26" tall tires. Highway rpm's at 65mph are a tick over 3,400. 3.73's would put it a little over 3,100, and 3.55's would be almost 3,000 rpm.
You want to decide what you want, bottom end performance, better gas mileage, or somewhere in between.
My eventual plan is to get a hefty 700R4 to have the best of both worlds.

If you're gonna do more than a quarter tank's worth on the highway every fillup, I'd suggest some 3.55s/3.60s. But if it's just every once in awhile, you'll enjoy 3.73s more.
