I'm tired of trouble shooting my boyfriend's car. I just need a basic step by step for installing a toggle switch for the fan. His fan only kicks on when the a/c is on. But it always blows warm air. I just want to know how to run a toggle switch to the inside so when it starts to get warm he can just switch it on with out having all that hot air blowing into the car... Thanks.

edit: OH...on a 1991 z28 with the 5.0 not the 5.7

 

its easy all u need is a positive wire with a fuse in the middle to 1 side of the switch and ur positve wire from the fan to the other side of the switch and ground the other fan wire to the car. turn it on and make sure it is spinnin the right way if not switch the ground wire with the other 1
