Default t-top switch

i got a 1993 z28 that unfortunatly does not have t tops. my buddy has a 2000 camaro with t tops but the car is wrecked. ive looked at both of them and it looks like the roof should just come off but i was wondering if anybody has done something like this or if it can even be done

The t-top provisions are already there to make it work on your car, you just gotta do a little cutting and digging: Grip's T-top Conversion

If not done correctly, you can be assured that they will leak. Even factory T-Tops leaks if the seals are not just right.

arent the ttops released by a key though?

would you have to get the key from the old car to use them?
