Default How to put a toggle switch to the cooling fans

I have a 1996 Camaro with a 3.8V6. How do you hook up a toggle switch to turn the cooling fans on when I am stuck intraffic? I am trying to keep the heat down when I am crusing in town. I replaced the thermostat with a 180 degree. I have a coolant leak. It is leaking from the heater hoseat the quick connector. I have tried several things tomake it quit leaking. Had to order the whole heater hose assembly. NOT CHEAP! I ordered from GMParts direct .com Haven't got it yet It cost $84.00+$18.00 shipping. $102.00. Who ever came up with this disign was crazy! They could had it where the 2 heater hoses hook up to the cooling system. That uses 2 pipes that you put the hoses on and use 2 regular clamps. Thanks, gearyr.

Due to the complicated car wiring, IMO the best thing is to buy a fancontrol kit, and follow the installation instructions. Summit sells a plug and play kit from SLP for around $65. Part # SLE-63011. No splicing or cutting of wires required.
