i will be putting in a chevy 350 4 bolt main or 327 with a 4speed manual trannyinto my 96 camaro to get rid of the v6 5speed and was wondering if there was anything special i needed to do to it? will the shifter be mounted in the same spot or will i have to move it back or forward at all? i will probably need a cowl hood to be able to fit the engine in there wouldnt i? please help me out with this give me some opinions alright thanks laterz

 

since the engine is more than halfway underneath the dash, clearance will be a huge issue...something that might not be an 'easy' fix w/ a cowl hood

anyways, it's all going to be custom so good ****in luck!!! but it will be sweet if you do so
