so i just bought an 89 IROC, it has a 350 TPI and i havnt been able to drive it much since i got it but when i do drive it, sometimes the engine will studder and then the car will eather run like ****, recover and run fine, or stop running all together...

if u have any advice i would truley appreciat any thing you could do to help me fix it...

very little to work with ... could be ignition. then again could be fuel. would check fuel filter, fuel pressure, ignition coil, ignition module, and pickup coil. Sick

 

One experience I had was my MAF. The car would run great 90% of the time and other times studder once or twice or just flat out run like a piece of crap.

 

my 79 did that a lil bit but it was just the idle i had to turn it up and it ran fine but when the idle was low it would spudder sometimes and die sometimes and lil back fire
