[&:] 400 HP should be doable but you had better expect to spend $3000 plus to get there. ya heads in the $1300 -$2000 range roller cam around $300 new injectors probably in the $500 range. 58 mm throttle body $300, roller rockers$300 (dont assemble a motor like this and not use roller rockers) plus other unknown expenses like intake machine work and or new intake to match heads (edelbrock $500)and computer reprogramming. im sure theres other smaller parts im leaving out, gaskets, fluids etc. Dart, AFR, trickflow and edelbrock all seem to have a good package for what you are seeking to do but youll need to get all the parts to realize the HP level you are seeking. hope ive helped and keep us informed with your decisions and results so the rest of us can learn what works and what doesnt. a good dyno flog both before and after would really be a bonus so we could see the real world HP gains from the parts kurt

Kurt has the total pricing about right, and that's if you do all the labour yourself. You'll probably need a more aggressive cam than the LT4 hotcam to see those numbers for RWHP, 400 crank HP with that cam isn't too hard, but to the wheels you'll probably need something a bit more extreme. There's a place that's local to me called Dragon Race Engineering. Their website is www.dragonrace.com, call and talk to the guy that runs the place and see what they would be able to hook you up with.
