dumping the clutch at 2.5k or 3 would probably do the trick
brake stands don't really work well for manuals in my experience, it's just a big pain in the *** and more than likely you'll end up smoking out your clutch before your tires
and granted burnouts might look cool, traction is a lot more impressive, noone has ever won a race by standing still

If you keep tring, you will break something. M6 was not meant to do burnouts. Heres a tip though to help break the tire's loose and save your clutch. Spray a little bit of bleach on your rear tires then give it a try. Do so at your local race track!

can any 1 tell me how to do a burn out?i have a 2002 m6 ss n last night i was trying to do a burn out by letting go the clutch , n with my right foot pressing the brake n gas pedal.my problem is it just burn out a lil n then the car just turn off on me...does any1 know y it turned off an what i did wrong?
