engine swap 80-81 camaro

Default engine swap 80-81 camaro

can the stock v6 engine in an 1980 or 1981 be replaced with a small block. i'm looking at a possible project car and need some help. thank you

yes, this is the most common thing done now days.you most likely will have to upgrade the car to accompany the new v8, suspension,fuel system,rear end and the trans that will match up with the small block. what kind of small block were you looking into ?

I once saw a porche with a diesel locomotive turbo on it. This proves you can do anything your little heart desires......Well just about anything. As the car was doing 200mph it got air underneath it and sent it sailing. [&o]

i have a 355 small block with aluminum heads and a th350.

As far as conversions go, that will be an easy slip-in job since the car also came with a small block. And you don't have to worry about any computer controlled crap to have to make work either. New engine, trans, and motor mounts frame brackets (I believe) and you're most of the way there.
